So I might not be that good at running, but I’m trying. One of the reasons I always said I ran is because I wanted to learn to love it. That’s still true. I’ve found a great group of people I run with who are super supportive, and push me to work way harder than I have in the past (shout out, BRC!). Running began as the quickest way to work out, and for that reason it’s remained in my day to day routine.

I’ve run three half marathons (PB 1:46:30), three 10Ks (PB: 46:06), 3 5Ks (PB: 23:03), 10 trail races of various distances with 5 Peaks Run, where I’m an Ambassador, and in 2013 did my very first mini triathlon. I’m also proud to be an Altra Running Ambassador in Canada.

For the first time I’m working with a coach so in 2016 I’m back to racing and have an exciting schedule:

March 6: Chilly Half
April 9: Race Roster Spring Run Off
April 30: 5 Peaks Terra Cotta
May 1: Goodlife Half Marathon
May 28: 5 Peaks Heart Lake
June 25: 5 Peaks Rattlesnake Point
July 2: Spartan Sprint
July 10: Toronto Triathlon Festival, Sprint
July 23: Albion Hills
August 20: Squamish 50
September 10: 5 Peaks Kortright Centre
